Dale End Mill in Lothersdale

Dale End Mill, otherwise known as Lothersdale Mill, is a historic building in North Yorkshire which contains reputedly the largest indoor waterwheel in the world. The Lothersdale waterwheel and the whole complex has a Grade II* listing.

Lothersdale Mill and its Waterwheel are in the process of being restored

The Lothersdale waterwheel itself is classed as an Ancient Monument and is of great historical significance. It is not working at present and is in need of extensive restoration work. We hope that money can be raised to save this important artefact for future generations to see.

Donations to the Lothersdale Mill restoration fund are gratefully received
